For a long time, the West has enjoyed flies in their soup. Well, at least through their numerous waiter, waiter, there's a fly in my soup jokes, we have come to know that a good meal in the restaurant is not complete without flies. Unfortunately, the only other fly jokes that make news in the West are those of the tropical parasitic flies that settle on Safari animals or on starving and dying children in war-torn zones in Africa. It is almost as if we Africans have no eating-places that are good enough for flies. Well, we do.
