Former Military ruler and gardener, Brigand-General Mower (rtd) at the Garden Party of the Association of Demolishers, Earth Movers and Shakers gave a ground-breaking speech about his presidential ambition.

Why I want to destroy Nigeria, by Brigand-General Mower (rtd)

Ladies and gentlemen, I am indeed very honoured to have been invited to this April event. I crave your indulgence to allow me to use this gathering to sound off my presidential ambition. Although I intend to publicly declare my intentions to my party, Deep Diggers (DPD) before the end of the month, but I see no harm in confiding in this wonderful gathering why I want to be the next destroyer of Nigeria.

The truth of the matter is, like all my military and civilian colleagues who have destroyed Nigeria, I have portable water, food on my table, security for my live and property... access to hospitals in the UK that are functional with available drugs, schools abroad that are functional and expensive.

In the last 30 years, Nigerian rulers have unearthed over $300 billion, but the money has not been properly invested. If you, at the top are crooked and the rest of those under you are good, then you won’t go far because you will be exhausted, as you alone will be carrying all that money, running from ministry to ministry and department to department and from landscape to landscape. It will be too much for one person; it will not work. But if everybody else is as crooked as you, then it should be easier to have a network of conduits and proxies to ensure the money is properly invested outside the country. That is the leadership situation.

You see, Rome was not destroyed in a day. It’s like firing a bazooka at the Nigerian wall that has been reinforced with very thick steel. I can tell you that one bang will not bring the wall down. It takes time and many hands before some fundamental changes that are geared towards destruction of the wall will manifest or when the foundation that the wall is standing on will give. Once a solid foundation is wrecked, a good Nigerian builder can complete the destruction, and that good builder is here, who will leave no stone or block unturned or standing. That’s me!
